Requirements for Contractual Computer Repair Technician

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational certificate or college degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field preferred.
  • TESDA CSS (Computer Systems Servicing NC II) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

2. Technical Skills

  • Proficient in diagnosing hardware and software issues in desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Skilled in assembling, upgrading, and repairing computer systems.
  • Specialized skills in laptop repair, including:
  • Deep cleaning of laptops (internal dust removal, fan cleaning, thermal paste reapplication)
  • Replacing LCD screens
  • Replacing keyboards
  • Replacing batteries
  • Replacing storage drives (2.5” SSD, NVMe SSD)
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot network issues (LAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with virus removal, data recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of printer, scanner, and other peripheral device troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.

3. Tools & Equipment

  • Must have personal basic toolkit for computer repair (screwdrivers, pliers, multimeter, thermal paste, anti-static tools, etc.).
  • Able to operate and maintain company-provided tools and equipment.

4. Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills for explaining issues and solutions to clients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Flexible and willing to work on-site or remotely as needed.

5. Work Conditions

  • Able to travel to client sites within Metro Manila (or designated service area).
  • Must have own motorcycle for work-related travel.
  • Must follow company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Willing to work under contractual terms (service-based compensation or hourly rate).

6. Legal & Documentation

  • Valid government-issued ID.
  • Barangay clearance or NBI clearance may be required.
  • Signed contract/agreement acknowledging service terms, fees, and responsibilities.

7. Optional / Preferred

  • Must be currently residing in or near Cubao, Quezon City.
  • Experience in networking setups and server maintenance.
  • Knowledge of remote support software (TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
  • Familiarity with computer repair business workflows and inventory management.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
