The Company Health Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s health and safety programs. This role blends clinical nursing expertise with administrative oversight to promote a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment. The ideal candidate will manage routine health screenings, coordinate statutory health benefits, oversee medical emergency responses, and champion workplace wellness initiatives.

1. Clinical & Emergency Care

Provide immediate, high-quality first aid and triage for workplace injuries and acute illnesses.

Manage the onsite clinic, ensuring it is properly stocked with essential medications, first aid supplies, and functioning medical equipment.

Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic health records for all employees in compliance with privacy regulations.

2. Statutory Compliance & Health Plan Administration

Coordinate and track employee Annual Physical Examinations (APE), pre-employment medical screenings, and specialized diagnostic tests.

Assist employees with statutory health benefits processing and documentation (e.g., SSS sickness notifications, PhilHealth forms, and Pag-IBIG adjustments where applicable).

Liaise with Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) providers to streamline employee enrollment, billing, utilization reviews, and specialized medical clearances.

3. Workplace Health, Safety & Wellness

Collaborate with the Human Resources and Safety teams to conduct workplace health risk assessments and incident investigations.

Design and execute corporate wellness programs, campaigns, and health educational drives (e.g., mental health awareness, ergonomics, lifestyle disease prevention).

Monitor and analyze workplace health trends to recommend preventive measures that minimize absenteeism and health-related risks.

4. Administrative & Regulatory Reporting

Prepare and submit required occupational health and safety reports to regulatory government bodies (such as DOLE/OSH standards reports).

Manage medical clearance workflows for employees returning to work after prolonged medical leave or infectious illnesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

License: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and current professional license.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is highly preferred.

Completion of the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training course for Occupational Health Nurses is a major advantage.

Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an occupational health settings, corporate clinic, or hospital emergency/outpatient department.

Skills:

Strong administrative and organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, external medical providers, and regulatory authorities.

High level of discretion and absolute commitment to medical data privacy.

Pay: Php1,000.00 - Php1,300.00 per day
