JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES CASHIER

Position Title: Sales Cashier
Branch: HP KCC ZAMBOANGA

Job Summary

The Sales Cashier is responsible for processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes handling cash, card, and digital payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate cash records, and assisting customers with product inquiries. The Sales Cashier is also expected to have basic knowledge of gadgets, technology products, and accessories to support sales and customer concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card, GCash, bank transfer, and other payment methods.
• Issue official receipts, invoices, and ensure proper recording of all sales transactions.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, balancing of cash drawer, and daily remittance of sales.
• Monitor and ensure proper safekeeping of company funds and documents.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding gadgets, laptops, mobile phones, accessories, printers, and other technology-related products.
• Recommend products and accessories based on customer needs and preferences.
• Coordinate with sales personnel and technicians regarding customer concerns, reservations, and product availability.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of sales records, invoices, and remittance reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashiering area.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and report discrepancies when necessary.
• Promote excellent customer service and maintain professionalism when dealing with customers.
• Follow company policies, cashiering procedures, and security protocols at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Senior High School, Vocational Course, or College Level/Graduate in any field.
• Preferably with experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service.
• Knowledgeable about gadgets, laptops, mobile phones, accessories, printers, and current technology trends is an advantage.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and digital payment platforms (GCash, Maya, bank transfers, etc.) is preferred.
• Honest, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
