We are a tech-enabled workforce augmentation platform leveraging top 1% offshore talent & cutting edge technology to enable businesses to unlock their full potential.

Schedule: Night Shift

Employment Type: Part-time

Location: Fully Remote (WFH)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical or Life Sciences Data Curator to review, evaluate, and summarize medical and scientific information for structured weekly monitoring reports.
You'll assess whether new developments are relevant based on defined criteria, extract key information, verify it against the original source, and produce concise, accurate summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review medical and scientific sources, including clinical trial registry updates, scientific publications, conference abstracts, pharmaceutical and biotech press releases, regulatory announcements, patent updates, pipeline developments, and drug safety communications.
  • Evaluate whether each update should be included in a weekly monitoring report using established inclusion and exclusion guidelines.
  • Extract key information such as the sponsor, investigational product, indication, study phase, mechanism of action, regulatory milestone, or development update.
  • Prepare clear, objective summaries supported by the original source.
  • Verify factual accuracy and flag ambiguous, incomplete, or conflicting information.
  • Maintain structured records using standardized templates and perform quality checks for consistency and completeness.

For example, you may review a ClinicalTrials.gov update to identify the trial sponsor, phase, indication, treatment being studied, what changed since the previous update, whether the change is significant enough to report, and write a brief summary with the appropriate source citation. On another day, you may assess a pharmaceutical press release to determine whether it contains a meaningful clinical, regulatory, publication, or pipeline update that should be captured.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare or scientific field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical or scientific literature.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to summarize complex information clearly and accurately.
  • Comfortable working with structured templates, spreadsheets, or databases.
  • Ability to consistently follow detailed guidelines and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Strong fact-checking and source verification skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical research
  • Pharmacovigilance
  • Regulatory affairs
  • Medical writing
  • Clinical data management
  • Health informatics
  • ClinicalTrials.gov or PubMed
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology pipelines
  • Data curation, annotation, or quality review
  • AI-assisted research, with the ability to independently verify outputs against primary sources

Technical Requirements:

  • Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
  • Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
  • Quiet, conducive home workspace
  • OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
  • OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages

Why Expedock:

  • Supportive Remote Environment: Work from home alongside a collaborative team that values growth and mutual success.
  • Seamless Onboarding & Training: Get up to speed quickly with a structured program and client specific training designed to make you a subject matter expert in your assigned workflows.
