Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and implementation of civil and structural works within the mall premises. The role ensures that all facilities, construction activities, renovations, and engineering operations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements to support efficient mall operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Facility and Structural Maintenance

• Conduct regular inspection of mall facilities, structural components, and civil works.
• Monitor the condition of common areas, parking areas, roads, drainage systems, and building structures.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

2. Project Management and Construction Supervision

• Supervise tenant fit-outs, renovations, and civil engineering projects within the mall.
• Ensure all projects are completed within approved plans, specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding project requirements.

3. Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with building codes, engineering standards, and government regulations.
• Monitor contractor safety practices and implementation of mall safety protocols.
• Assist during government inspections and compliance audits.

4. Cost Monitoring and Documentation

• Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, accomplishment reports, and project documentation.
• Review contractor billing, quotations, and material specifications.
• Monitor project expenses and recommend cost-efficient solutions.

5. Coordination and Operational Support

• Coordinate with mall operations, leasing, marketing, and tenant relations teams regarding engineering concerns.
• Provide technical assistance during mall events and operational activities requiring engineering support.
• Respond to facility-related concerns and emergency situations when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed)
• With experience in construction, property management, or mall operations is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in structural analysis, project management, and building maintenance
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering documentation
• Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work on-site and during weekends/holidays if needed

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per hour
