Civil Engineer jobs

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with a background in Architecture or Civil Engineering and experience in construction estimating and proposal preparation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing plans and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and developing competitive project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates.

Solicit, analyze, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Prepare and submit project proposals, bids, and tender documents.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors regarding project requirements and pricing.

Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records.

Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving solutions when applicable.

Ensure estimates and proposals are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

Proven experience in construction estimating and proposal preparation.

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating.

Experience with residential, commercial, renovation, or fit-out projects.

Knowledge of material costing, labor costing, budgeting, and procurement processes.

Experience working with U.S., Australian, Canadian, or local construction projects is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

Must be willing and able to work U.S. business hours.

Remote work opportunity.

Pay: From Php60,000.00 per month
