Key Task Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installing, setting up, and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Respond to technical support requests via phone or in person and provide troubleshooting assistance.
  • Help users with basic IT problems, including installing software, fixing network issues, and resolving printer problems.
  • Assist in managing the inventory of IT equipment and devices.
  • Help with system updates and data backups on a regular basis.
  • Assist with creating and managing user accounts and profiles.
  • Track and document reported issues using IT support tools or ticketing systems.
  • Work with the IT team to resolve more advanced technical issues.
  • Adhere to company IT policies to ensure data security and protect systems.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in any IT-related course.

Relevant Experience: No prior professional IT support experience is necessary.

Experience in troubleshooting basic computer hardware or software issues is a plus.

Knowledge / Training: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.

Location: Office-based with some remote support opportunities.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours depending on company needs.

Environment: Team-based with training and support from senior staff.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk and assist with setting up equipment.
