JOB SUMMARY

The Dealer (Chinese/Japanese/Korean Speaker) is responsible for dealing table games with the required amount of skill, accuracy, productivity, and attention to detail as set down by the Gaming Operations Management. This position also ensures compliance with all gaming policies and procedures while providing a positive and entertaining experience for casino patrons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct and deal with acquired games according to established rules and regulations
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency when dealing cards, spinning the balls and wheels, and managing the dice throw
• Calculate and distribute winnings, and collect losing bets
• Maintain the integrity of the game and prevent cheating
• Announce the chip and cash amounts for each transaction. If the amount exceeds the approved threshold, promptly notify the inspector for confirmation.
• Ensure correct cash, chips change transactions at all times.
• Manage the float tray and accurate key-in of cash buy-in transactions
• Monitor players' behavior and report any suspicious activity to the Pit Manager
• Show clean hands at all times to show that no cash or chips are being concealed
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
• Explain game rules and procedures to players as needed
• Address players' inquiries and concerns, and identify incidents that require escalation or intervention of the Pit Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in speaking Chinese, Japanese, or Korean
• Candidate must be a high school graduate
• No prior experience required
• Experience or training in high-end customer service is an advantage
• Possesses good communication, numerical, and customer service skills
• Adaptable and capable of handling stressful and high-pressure situations
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including holidays and weekends
• Amenable working in a smoking environment.
