Chief Medical Technologist jobs

The Chief Medical Technologist (CMT) will oversee and coordinate the overall operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and the delivery of accurate and timely laboratory results. The laboratory operates at a tertiary level, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective coordination across all laboratory sections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities and performance of Registered Medical Technologists (RMTs) across the six laboratory sections.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day laboratory operations and effective coordination among all sections.
• Coordinate and communicate necessary laboratory information, reports, updates, and compliance requirements with the Pathologist and Management.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laboratory standards, policies, regulatory requirements, and quality management practices.
• Review, revise, and implement necessary updates to the laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain safe, efficient, and standardized processes.
• Monitor the quality and reliability of laboratory procedures and results and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Identify operational concerns and recommend appropriate improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency, service quality, and patient safety.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement among laboratory personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of required reports and compliance records to the appropriate authorities and management.

Overall Objective:
To provide effective leadership and oversight of the laboratory operations while ensuring regulatory compliance, quality laboratory services, accurate results, and alignment with the goals and standards of the organization.

Pay: Php33,000.00 - Php37,000.00 per month
