Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly detailed Chief Engineer to lead our Facilities & Engineering Operations. The Chief Engineer will oversee the physical plant, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil infrastructure, building maintenance, and power distribution across the entire resort-style complex. This critical leadership role ensures maximum operational efficiency, safety compliance, asset preservation, and seamless day-to-day facilities support for our facilities and greens management partners.

Key Responsibilities

● Facility Maintenance & Operations: Direct preventive and corrective maintenance across all club facilities, including the clubhouse, pro shop, dining facilities, pools, sports amenities, and administrative buildings.

● Infrastructure & Power Systems: Oversee high-voltage electrical distribution, generator systems, water treatment plants, pumping stations, wastewater treatment, and HVAC networks.

● Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead, mentor, and manage an in-house team of engineers, technicians, and specialized trade specialists. Manage relationships with third-party contractors, equipment suppliers, and service vendors.

● Capital Planning & Budgeting: Develop and manage the engineering operational and CAPEX budgets. Plan long-term facility upgrade projects and asset replacement lifecycles.

● Sustainability & Energy Management: Implement energy-saving initiatives, water conservation programs, and sustainable engineering practices across the property.

● Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all local health, safety, environmental, and building codes (DOLE, DENR, LLDA, BFP, and local government units). Serve as a primary point of contact during safety audits and building inspections.

● Emergency Response: Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for emergency power, water delivery, fire protection, and natural disaster recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Registered / Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) status is required.

● Experience: Minimum 6–10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in top-tier hotels, resorts, country clubs, large-scale commercial real estate, or high-end

mixed-use developments.

● Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in central chiller plants, standby generator systems, BMS/BAS systems, fire suppression systems, and environmental management facilities (STP/WTP).

● Leadership Skills: Proven track record in managing technical teams, contractor negotiation, and cross-departmental coordination.

● Project Management: Experience overseeing facility renovation or major infrastructure replacement projects.

● Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and

Filipino.
