Key Responsibilities

• Assist marine mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline marine engines.
• Help inspect, clean, and service mechanical, hydraulic, cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems.
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Assist with servicing generators, transmissions, propeller shafts, steering systems, and other mechanical components.
• Clean engine rooms, workshops, and work areas while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Assist with vessel inspections before and after charter operations.
• Support vessel commissioning, winterization, and seasonal maintenance projects.
• Follow maintenance schedules and assist with recording completed work and service reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures and marine safety standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, automotive repair, diesel engines, or marine services is an advantage but not required.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and hand tools.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting are an asset.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in marinas, shipyards, and onboard vessels.
• Willingness to travel between ports and Greek islands when required.
• Physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined engine-room spaces.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays during the busy charter season.
• Good command of English.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical vocational training in mechanics or marine engineering.
• Experience assisting mechanics in marine, automotive, heavy equipment, or diesel engine environments.
• Basic knowledge of marine electrical systems or air-conditioning systems is a plus. STCW Basic Safety Training (preferred but not required).
• Forklift or equipment handling experience is considered an advantage.

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php150,000.00 per month
