KITCHEN HELPER

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in ensuring efficient food preparation and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The role includes preparing ingredients, cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas, washing dishes and utensils, storing food supplies properly, and assisting cooks with daily kitchen operations. The Kitchen Helper is expected to follow food safety and sanitation standards, comply with company policies and standard operating procedures, and contribute to delivering high-quality food and excellent service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
  • Support cooks and other kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and cooking equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, storage areas, and food preparation areas.
  • Store and organize food supplies following food safety and inventory procedures.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
