A PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program) Registration Staff serves as the primary liaison between patients and the enhanced primary care benefit. They handle patient intake, enrollment in the PhilHealth Konsulta/YAKAP system, and ensure that community or workplace health caravan logistics run smoothly. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]Key Responsibilities

• Patient Intake & Registration: Handle on-site registration, verify patient eligibility, and guide patients through the triage process. [1, 2]
• System Encoding: Encode and update basic health data, medical histories, and personal information directly into PhilHealth-certified EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) or the Konsulta System. [1, 2, 3]
• Program Orientation: Explain the YAKAP coverage, benefits, requirements, and post-care instructions clearly and compassionately to patients and their families. [1, 2]
• Logistics & Clinic Support: Assist doctors and nurses during consultations, help maintain treatment areas, and manage community outreach or workplace caravan logistics. [1]
• Documentation & Claims: Ensure accurate submission of requirements and help facilitate the seamless flow of paperwork needed for clinic-to-PhilHealth transmittals. [1, 2]

Qualifications

• Education: At least a college-level student or graduate. Degrees in Nursing, Midwifery, or health-related courses are highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal skills. Ability to speak local dialects or languages is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical terms, triage processes, and prior experience with PhilHealth administration.
• Traits: Adaptable, highly organized, and displays a compassionate and welcoming demeanor ("may yakap sa kapwa").
• Physical Fitness: Willingness to travel for mobile caravans, stand for extended periods, and work in active community-based settings

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
