Food Safety & Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Ortigas Avenue, Pasig (with assignments in Makati and Clark, Pampanga as needed)
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Schedule: 48 hours per week | 6 days a week

About the Role

We're looking for a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Officer who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. In this role, you'll help ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality assurance procedures across our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of food preparation, storage, and serving areas to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food handling practices, temperature logs, receiving activities, and storage conditions.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, company SOPs, and hospital infection control protocols.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices of food handlers and kitchen personnel.
• Inspect food quality, portion sizes, labeling, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
• Assist in investigating food quality concerns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare QA reports, inspection records, monitoring logs, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, Executive Chef, and Dietitians regarding food safety and quality concerns.
• Participate in internal audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Assist in conducting food safety, sanitation, and hygiene training programs.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any of the following:

• Food Technology
• Nutrition and Dietetics
• Hospitality Management
• Hotel & Restaurant Management
• Or any related field

- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in:

• Food Service
• Catering
• Commissary
• Hospital Food Operations
• Food Manufacturing

- Knowledgeable in:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Standards
• Quality Assurance Procedures
• HACCP and GMP (preferred but not required)

- Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills

- Food Safety or HACCP Certification is an advantage but not required.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
