Position Title: Cashier

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cashier is responsible for processing all guest payments accurately and efficiently, while providing a seamless end-of-meal experience that reflects the brand’s premium service. You will also manage the POS system, issue official receipts, handle reservations and takeaway transactions, and maintain accountability for your cash drawer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transaction Handling

• Accurately enter guest orders into the POS system and issue bills upon request.
• Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, or other approved modes.
• Ensure proper issuance of official receipts in compliance with local regulations (BIR compliance).
• Provide correct change and manage the cash float with integrity and transparency.

Guest Service & Coordination

• Greet guests warmly upon entry and thank them as they exit.
• Handle inquiries about the menu, promotions, and restaurant offerings.
• Assist in managing reservations, takeaway orders, or guest seating when needed.
• Coordinate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen for guest orders, especially for take-out or pending payments.

Financial Accountability

• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Submit accurate end-of-day reports, receipts, and any discrepancies to the manager on duty.
• Maintain the confidentiality of financial transactions and customer information.

Cleanliness & Professionalism

• Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and free from clutter.
• Uphold professional grooming and service standards consistently.
• Ensure all necessary cashiering supplies (receipt rolls, pens, etc.) are stocked and functional.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Senior High School graduate or relevant vocational training in hospitality or accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year cashiering experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Oracle MICROS, Revel, or equivalent).
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet in handling sensitive information.
• Polite and well-spoken, with excellent guest service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php48,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
