MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

PATIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Identify and analyze patient’s personal and health profile making use of records and collections of patient’s data.
  • Identify and assess nursing problems- physical, mental and spiritual.
  • Plan, implement and deliver nursing care according to priorities.
  • Give health Instructions to patient and relatives.
  • Discuss and clarify to patient’s relatives their role in promotion of therapy and rehabilitation.
  • Give appropriate instructions regarding tests and procedures.

TECHNICAL

  • Perform electroneurodiagnostic tests and procedures according to physicians’ advice.
  • Report observations, results and patient needs.Prepare reports and documentation associated with patient procedures.
  • Prepare, perform and maintain equipment and supplies under the assigned section.
  • Perform all diagnostic EEG and able to perform special EEG.
  • Perform video/EEG, ambulatory monitory and multiple sleep testing.
  • Facilitate all aspects of patient assessment including taking patient history, recording and filing of test results and other necessary paperwork to complete patient record.

REPORT/RECORD MANAGEMENT

  • Document all incident reports accurately and timely.
  • Record all borrowed department records properly in the logbook.
  • Check that all pending procedures and request ordered through phone or computer is executed completely.
  • Complete and correct patient profile; charging and posting of readers.
  • File, encode and release results of procedure.
  • Complete daily census of procedure done per day.

OTHERS

  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
