Job Summary

The Café Server is the frontline representative of our café, responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties include taking orders, serving food and specialty beverages, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a pristine dining environment. This position operates on a dynamic, 6-day operational workweek across variable morning, mid, and closing shifts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Experience & Table Service

• Warmly greet guests, present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver dishes and drinks to tables promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet café standards.
• Check in on guests during their meal to handle additional requests, refill drinks, and clear away empty plates.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.

2. Café Operations & Cleanliness

• Prepare dining areas by setting up tables, arranging condiments, and ensuring service stations are fully stocked.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces constantly to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Process payments using the POS system, handle cash responsibly, and issue precise receipts.
• Perform opening, mid-shift, or closing duties as assigned (e.g., sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, locking up).

3. Teamwork & Communication

• Coordinate smoothly with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure order accuracy and minimal wait times.
• Communicate any customer complaints or operational bottlenecks immediately to the Shift Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Compensation, Benefits, and Work Schedule

• Schedule: 6 days a week, on a shifting basis (rotation includes morning & midshift).
• Incentives: Eligible for a share in the monthly Service Charge collection.
• Perks: Subject to a daily Meal Allowance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced customer service role (experience in a café setting is highly preferred).
• Communication: Friendly, active listener with excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to stay organized and calm during peak morning or lunchtime rushes.
• Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for an entire shift.
• Reliable punctuality and a strong sense of accountability for shifting schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,127.92 per month
