Job Summary

The Café Server is the frontline representative of our café, responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties include taking orders, serving food and specialty beverages, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a pristine dining environment. This position operates on a dynamic, 6-day operational workweek across variable morning, mid, and closing shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Hospitality

  • Welcome guests warmly, present menus, offer informed recommendations, and accurately record food and beverage orders.
  • Serve meals and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets café quality standards.
  • Conduct table visits during meals to manage extra requests, offer drink refills, and clear used tableware promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive menu knowledge, including ingredients, allergen information, and daily specials.

Team Collaboration & Operations

  • Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and baristas to reduce guest wait times and maintain order precision.
  • Escalate customer concerns and workflow delays immediately to the Shift Supervisor or Store Manager.

Compensation, Benefits, and Work Schedule

  • Schedule: 6 days a week, on a shifting basis (rotation includes morning & mid-shift).
  • Incentives: Eligible for a share in the monthly Service Charge collection.
  • Perks: Subject to a daily Meal Allowance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced customer service role (experience in a café setting is highly preferred).
  • Communication: Friendly, active listener with excellent verbal communication skills.

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to stay organized and calm during peak morning or lunchtime rushes.
  • Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for an entire shift.
  • Reliable punctuality and a strong sense of accountability for shifting schedules.

Pay: Php18,197.92 per month
