Z Manila Cafe is a cozy canteen, cafeteria, and kiosk style venue located right inside the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) compound. We are a close-knit, family-operated business dedicated to serving warm smiles, comforting food, and quality coffee to healthcare workers, patients, and visitors every day.

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and reliable Barista / Service Crew to join our small team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our cafe—handling customer orders, preparing coffee and beverages, keeping our counter clean, and assisting with daily food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle cash or digital payments.
• Beverage & Food Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other drinks; assemble simple grab-and-go food items or snacks.
• Store Operations: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the counter, dining area, and food prep stations throughout the shift.
• Inventory & Restocking: Check stock levels of cups, ingredients, and supplies, and help restock display shelves and refrigerators.
• Team Support: Work hand-in-hand with the owners and fellow crew members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a barista, service crew, or in a food service/canteen environment is an advantage, but fresh graduates or beginners with a great attitude are welcome to apply (training will be provided!).
• Personality: Friendly, honest, trustworthy, patient, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Communication: Good conversational skills in Tagalog and basic English.
• Location: Preferably residing near Manila or within easy commuting distance to PGH.
• Health Requirements: Willing to secure standard health clearance (e.g., sanitary permit / food handler's certificate).
