Full job description

A Cashier Barista manages the front-of-house operations in a cafe or coffee shop. They take customer orders, process payments, and expertly prepare hot or cold beverages according to recipes. They are also responsible for keeping the workstation clean and ensuring a welcoming, friendly environment

  • Customer Service: Welcome guests warmly, answer menu-related questions, and provide recommendations to ensure a great experience.
  • Order Taking & Cashiering: Process orders using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Accurately handle cash, process credit cards, and balance the register.
  • Beverage Preparation: Make coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages while maintaining strict quality and recipe standards.
  • Maintenance & Cleanliness: Sanitize brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas. Ensure the front counter remains neat.
  • Inventory Restocking: Monitor supplies (cups, lids, syrups, and napkins) and refill them throughout the shift
