What is the job?

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. This position is ideal for an independent and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly schedules and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Handle CIT, VAT, and WHT filings in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Review monthly and year-to-date performance, providing analysis to improve profitability.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least five (5) years of experience as an Accountant.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and compliance with local and international standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software and tools; knowledge of Workday (Finance modules) is an advantage.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Efficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines without compromising accuracy.
