Job Summary:

The Buffet Attendant is responsible for maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and availability of food and beverage items at buffet stations. The role ensures guests receive prompt assistance while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and service standards throughout operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare buffet stations before service
• Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and condiments as needed
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and serving temperatures
• Ensure buffet areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and buffet offerings
• Clear used plates and maintain cleanliness of dining and buffet areas
• Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding food replenishment requirements
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Assist in buffet breakdown and cleaning after service
• Report operational concerns, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, catering, or buffet operations is an advantage
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
