Biomedical Equipment Technician jobs

The Biomedical Equipment Technician – Integration Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and integration of medical equipment and systems. This role ensures that biomedical devices are properly connected to hospital IT infrastructure, enabling seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and devices
• Integrate medical equipment with hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), and network infrastructure
• Configure and troubleshoot device connectivity.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure and efficient system integration
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on biomedical equipment
• Maintain accurate service records, calibration logs, and compliance documentation
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on equipment usage
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Assist in evaluating and recommending new medical technologies and integration solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical training)
• Proven experience as a Biomedical Technician, preferably with integration experience
• Knowledge of medical device networking, interfaces, and communication protocols
• Familiarity with hospital systems integration and IT infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with integration platforms or middleware
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices for medical devices
• Certifications related to biomedical equipment are an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
