Biomedical Equipment Engineer jobs

Job Description:

• Develops, implements, and maintains policies for the safe and efficient use of medical equipment
• Conducts routine inspection and monitoring of equipment across hospital units and specialized areas
• Schedules and performs preventive maintenance for various medical devices and machines
• Repairs and calibrates medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Prepares reports and provides recommendations on equipment condition and functionality
• Maintains inventory and tracking system for all medical equipment and maintenance schedules
• Conducts training and orientation for staff on proper equipment usage and safety procedures
• Responds to job orders, prepares requisitions, and performs other assigned technical duties

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Biomedical Engineering or any related Engineering courses or a vocational course in Biomedical Technology.
• At least six (6) months of experience as a Biomedical Technician/Engineer in a hospital setting
• Demonstrates strong technical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills in equipment management
• Knowledgeable in safety standards, compliance protocols, and effective communication practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
