About the Role

As a Biomedical Service Engineer, you will oversee the preventive maintenance, diagnostic repair, and technical support for various cardiopulmonary and medical equipment. Working with minimal supervision, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, customer satisfaction, and smooth operational setup across partner facilities and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities1. Equipment Maintenance & Technical Services

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute assigned preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and routine servicing to ensure continuous equipment uptime.
• Diagnostic & Repair: Perform on-site diagnostic repairs on complex equipment and systems; escalate high-level or critical technical issues to the Engineering Manager.
• Inspections & Commissioning: Conduct initial inspections, log pre-existing conditions, and perform test runs/commissioning for newly installed medical equipment.
• Decommissioning & Reporting: Prepare detailed scope-of-work and spare-part reports for decommissioned equipment or units requiring specialized repair/maintenance.

2. Technical Support & Stakeholder Engagement

• Post-Sales Service: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for post-sales maintenance, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshooting & Training: Conduct basic on-site troubleshooting training for hospital staff and client personnel.
• Hospital Setup & Offboarding: Assist in technical setup for new hospital partnerships and manage the retrieval/decommissioning of equipment from offboarded facilities.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise directly with supplier biomedical engineers to resolve complex technical issues and obtain advanced support.

3. Process & Team Improvement

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with biomedical staff to maintain consistent operational standards across all service calls.
• Mentorship: Support and train junior engineers and new hires during onboarding.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to elevate the Engineering Department’s efficiency.

4. Vehicle & Fleet Management (When Applicable)

• Routine Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily/weekly routine checks (e.g., tire pressure, oil, water, and fuel levels) on company-assigned service vehicles.
• Fuel & Fleet Safety: Manage vehicle refueling after use and promptly report maintenance concerns to the Assistant Administrative Officer.
• Incident Reporting: Complete and submit formal accident/incident reports to HR and the Admin Officer in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure: Registered/Licensed ECE or Electrical Engineer is required.
• Experience: Open to fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude, a hands-on mindset, and a strong interest in biomedical engineering.
• Technical Knowledge: Prior exposure or foundational knowledge of cardiopulmonary equipment (e.g., Prunus, Synovent, Monnal T76/T65) is a strong advantage.
• Mobility & Licensing: Must hold a valid driver’s license with proven ability to drive 4-wheel vehicles.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across regional territories (including Luzon and Mindanao).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php20,000.00 per month
