Job Summary

A BIM Modeller is in charge of creating, generating, and management of 3D digital models of buildings and their components using Revit. He/she collaborates closely with Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the design and construction elements are appropriately represented in the BIM model.

Job Summary

Project Delivery

· Develop accurate 3D models using Revit software.

· Create Revit worksets for preparation of the 3D model

· Create families and tags and templates in Revit.

· Identify clashes or conflicts in the design.

· Coordinate with all project stakeholders in resolving clashes.

· Participate in workshops for clash resolutions.

· Develop accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.

Coordination and Project/ Staff Supervision

· Lead modeling efforts on projects working with junior level modelers to complete deliverables

· Coordinate project delivery timelines.

· Implement and maintain BIM standards.

· Reviewing the quality of BIM models

Communications and Collaboration

· Collaborate and coordinate internally or/and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes.

· Develop construction drawings and extract informations based on external needs.

· Collaborate and coordinate internally or/and externally with other disciplines for design-changes and model changes.

· Collaborating with engineers and architects during data exchange.

· Establish strong network communication with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

· Solid understanding of CAD and Revit applications and best practices

· Proficient in 3D parametric modelling software

· Experience in model coordination, rendering and animation software a plus.

· Familiarity with building design, modelling and rendering applications such as 3D Studio Max (and Mental Ray and/or VRay), SketchUp, Navisworks, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

· Knowledge of construction detailing and techniques

· Must be familiar with construction concepts, practices, and procedures.

Soft Skills

· Articulate communicator, able to convey BIM concepts to all levels of design and delivery management

· Strong communication, organization and analytical skills

· Must have the ability to work with people

· Strong presentation skills is required for this position

· Must have the ability to handle large amount of information

· Willingness to be given instruction with the ability to plan, prioritize and organize responsibilities on multiple projects.

· Punctual, able to adhere to deadlines and has exceptional work ethics

Education

5-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture or Construction Management
