Full job description

We are looking for a proactive and dependable Production In-Charge to assist the Plant Officer in overseeing daily production operations and ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Plant Officer in managing day-to-day production activities
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets
  • Plan and coordinate manpower allocation based on production requirements
  • Supervise production personnel and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, and food safety requirements
  • Monitor production processes and identify operational issues that may affect productivity, quality, or safety
  • Immediately escalate production concerns, equipment issues, quality deviations, and manpower concerns to management
  • Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow
  • Prepare and submit production reports and other required documentation
  • Recommend process improvements and productivity enhancement initiatives
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for production-related issues
  • Promote discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production area

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Engineering, or any related course
  • With experience in food manufacturing, production operations, or related manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeable in production planning, manpower scheduling, and workflow management
  • Familiar with GMP, food safety, and manufacturing best practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive in identifying and reporting operational issues
  • Willing to work on-site and render overtime when necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising production personnel in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to analyze production issues and recommend practical solutions
  • Demonstrates initiative and continuously seeks opportunities for process and operational improvements

Work Setup:

  • Full-time, On-site (Food Manufacturing Facility)
