We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Safety Officer to oversee mechanical equipment, maintenance activities, and workplace safety compliance. The role will ensure that engineering operations are efficient, safe, and compliant with applicable standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and prepare engineering and safety reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• With Safety Officer training/certification (BOSH/COSH).
• Knowledge of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or facilities is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work on-site and conduct regular inspections.
