POSITION: Bartender

Department: Service Operations
Reports To: Bar Manager / Floor Manager

Job Summary:

VMX Club is seeking energetic, skilled, and service-oriented Bartenders to deliver an exceptional luxury nightlife experience to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to the highest standards, providing attentive guest service, maintaining an organized and well-stocked bar, and supporting efficient beverage operations throughout the venue.

As one of the key faces of VMX Club, you will play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences, maximizing beverage sales, maintaining product quality, and ensuring that all drinks are prepared and served with professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, champagne, beer, and premium beverage selections.
• Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely preparation, presentation, and service.
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences.

Guest Service & Relations

• Provide professional, attentive, and personalized service to guests, including VIP clientele.
• Build positive guest relationships while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally.
• Create a welcoming, upscale nightlife experience that encourages repeat visits.

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Promote signature cocktails, premium beverages, and current offers.
• Upsell beverage selections and support sales targets while prioritizing guest satisfaction.

Bar Operations

• Set up, stock, organize, and maintain the bar, including glassware, garnishes, equipment, and beverage supplies.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with inventory checks.
• Follow proper opening, closing, cleaning, storage, and equipment maintenance procedures.

Order & Table Coordination

• Receive and fulfill beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with VIP/Bottle Servers, Service Runners, and Floor Managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prioritize orders and maintain clear communication during peak service hours.

Inventory Control

• Handle and store beverages properly, follow portion controls, and minimize product waste.
• Monitor product availability and comply with inventory and bottle-handling procedures.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Maintain proper grooming, uniform standards, and a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
• Follow company SOPs, beverage recipes, responsible alcohol service policies, and applicable regulations.
• Verify guest age when required and refuse service to underage or visibly intoxicated guests in accordance with policy and law.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Senior High School graduate or college level; a relevant Hospitality, Tourism, or related qualification is an advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of bartending experience in a nightclub, hotel, lounge, casino, premium bar, or similar establishment.
• Upscale or high-volume nightlife experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, champagne, beer, and other beverages.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and beverage quality.
• Professional, well-groomed, energetic, approachable, and team-oriented.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
