We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly service while accurately handling customer transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
  • Process cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Assist with bagging merchandise and answering customer questions
  • Support loss prevention procedures and report discrepancies
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (with experience)
  • College or Bachelor's diploma of any degree for with no experience.
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scanning and bagging
