QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accountancy; Accounting Management/Technology (with/without experience) or Financial Management
  • A solid understanding of auditing principles, techniques, and best practices
  • Prior experience in internal auditing or external auditing is highly valued.
  • Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ethical Behavior and Professionalism
  • Can work under minimal supervisor.
  • Willing to travel to different locations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Monitor and check the accuracy of entries in reports prepared by different salesmen such as but not limited to:

  • Daily remittances against actual issued stocks
  • Daily sales invoices
  • Financial activity status report

o Monitor and control cash collection shortages against measured sales proceeds

o Indicate the correct data and accounting codes on all written reports

o Perform monthly inventory

o Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with management policies.

o Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.

o Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.

o Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.

o Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.

o Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks to confirm records are accurate.

o Examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries.

o Produce up-to-the-minute information, using internal computer systems, to allow management to base decisions on actual, not historical, data.

o Perform all other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23,000.00 - Php23,500.00 per month
