About the role

This is a directly hired by one of our clients in Metro Manila.

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auditor to join our dynamic audit team. Examines financial and operational records to ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and internal control. This foundational, entry-level role supports audit engagements by performing testing procedures, documenting findings, and verifying financial transactions.

What you'll be doing

• Testing & Analysis: Conduct substantive testing by examining accounts, analyzing spreadsheet data, and reviewing financial transactions.
• Documentation: Prepare clear, organized audit working papers that document corroborative evidence gathered during fieldwork.
• Compliance: Ensure financial procedures, company policies, and regulatory legislations are strictly followed.
• Internal Controls: Evaluate the efficiency of existing internal controls to prevent fraud and operational errors.
• Reporting: Assist in drafting audit reports, highlighting findings, and recommending changes to processes and systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred, but not mandatory
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
