Job Description

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's recipes, food quality standards, and food safety regulations. The Cook ensures efficient kitchen operations while maintaining cleanliness, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and portion specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served on time.
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and other cooking appliances safely.
  • Monitor inventory of ingredients and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Minimize food waste through proper storage and portion control.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and service crew to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of food supplies.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate.
  • With experience as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or food service establishment.
  • Knowledgeable in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Familiar with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and a good team player.

Pay: Php790.00 - Php825.00 per day
