Full job description

We are looking for Philippine Registered Nurses (PHRNs) to join our team as Utilization Review Nurses. If you have strong clinical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with medical records and healthcare documentation, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Review medical records and clinical documentation to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of healthcare services.
  • Evaluate inpatient and outpatient cases based on established clinical criteria, medical policies, and utilization management guidelines.
  • Assess clinical information to support authorization decisions and appropriate levels of care.
  • Identify missing or insufficient documentation and coordinate with the appropriate healthcare professionals for additional information.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, case managers, and other stakeholders regarding utilization review findings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical reviews and authorization requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA, data privacy regulations, and company policies, as applicable.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.

Qualifications

  • Active Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) license.
  • Hospital bedside experience in OR, ER, ICU, PACU, General Ward, or Post-Operative Care.
  • Experience in a healthcare BPO (Insurance, Denials & Appeals, Utilization Review, Prior Authorization, Medical Coding, etc.) is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical record systems.
  • Willing to work on night shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or shifting schedules as required.
  • Willing to report in Alabang during Training period

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
