Reporting to: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for rendering assistance and exceptional service to customers to make sales and meet sales quota.

Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
• Operate registers, scanners
• Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
• Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
• Maintain accurate cash drawer
• Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
• Renders assistance to customers in finding what they are looking for an interest them to buying merchandise to generate sales.
• Describe to customers a product features demonstrates it use or, show various models, sizes, and colors.
• Does suggestive, selling.
• Attends immediately to customer concern/complaints and escalates concerns beyond personal capacity to immediate superior for proper action.
• Handles return and exchanges of merchandise with approval of the department supervisor.
• Monitors security risk and theft of merchandise and handles or prevents such solution.
• Promotes special sales and promotional activities.
• Provides feedbacks to immediate superior customer product demands.
• Monitors and ensures racks/shelves/showcases are fully, completely and properly arrange/displayed in line with established department standards.
• Monitor and ensures all items are tagged accordingly
• Ensure of timely updating of price tags.
• Closely Monitor expiry dates of items ( for items with expiration ) and ensure none are displayed.
• Keeps the assigned area clean. Ensure that racks, Show cases, Shelves and merchandise are free from dust and Dirt.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of department standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist other areas/ department store when required.
• Makes timely reports to superiors on any irregularities or disciplinary concern on area of responsibilities.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, Decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
• Performs other task as may be assigned from time to time by superiors.

Qualifications:

• At least college level
• Customer oriented and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• With retail experience is a plus
• Can start as soon as possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php22,000.00 per month
