Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Creatives Lead, the Art Director is responsible for leading the visual direction, creative strategy, and execution of all design and branding initiatives across digital and print platforms. The role oversees the conceptualization and development of innovative visual solutions that support marketing, communications, and business objectives while ensuring consistency with the company's brand identity.

The Art Director collaborates closely with the Creatives Lead, Copywriters, Digital Team, PR Team, and other stakeholders to transform ideas into compelling creative campaigns and visual experiences. The position also provides leadership, mentorship, and creative guidance to Graphic Artists and other members of the creative team, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of creative concepts, visual strategies, and art direction for campaigns, branding initiatives, marketing materials, and multimedia projects.
  • Establish and maintain the visual identity, design standards, and creative quality across all company communications and marketing assets.
  • Direct and oversee the execution of digital and print materials, including social media content, advertisements, websites, presentations, publications, event materials, press kits, and other marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with the Creatives Lead to align creative outputs with business goals, campaign objectives, and brand positioning.
  • Partner with Copywriters, Digital Team, PR Team, Marketing Team, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Review, critique, and approve creative work to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative concepts, creative approaches, and visual storytelling solutions.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Stay informed on emerging design trends, technologies, creative tools, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the team.
  • Present creative concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve creative processes, workflows, and team collaboration practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, advertising, branding, or a related creative field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, campaign development, visual storytelling, digital design, and print production.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of creative strategy, branding, typography, layout, color theory, user engagement, and visual communication principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead creative concepts from ideation through final execution.
  • Experience providing creative direction, mentoring designers, and overseeing creative quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in motion graphics, video production, photography, videography, or multimedia content development is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound creative decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong balance of creativity, business awareness, and attention to detail.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Creatives Lead and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of the company's creative vision and brand strategy.
