Supervisory Manager : Sales Manager

Reported by : Store Managers/Assistant Store Managers

Targets of the Position:

1. Maximizes the sales of the stores

2. Leads the preparation and set up of a soon to open store ensuring completeness of all needed store materials and merchandise

3. Ensures that store’s general and daily operations are conducted according to the company’s rules and regulations.

4. Takes all steps necessary for having excellent store employees

5. Ensures the lowest possible costs and highest productivity for all operations and procedures

6. Works in cooperation with all other departments in order to let the Company achieve better results and be more successful

In order to stay ahead of competition, it is required to apply the principle of economy to the maximum extent.

Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:

1. Must visit each store at least twice a week, ideally every two days, check the cash balance ( including safe) at least once a week and to draw up a store visit report at least once in a week. The store visit report must be discussed with the Store Manager.

2. Visits new stores daily in order to check and help the store manager with the daily procedures.

3. Decides on hiring’s and dismissals of store employees, except Store Managers and deputies.

4. Must ensure effective promotional advertising for the store ( e.g flyers to households.)

5. Take Full accountability for Inventory accuracy in all assigned stores by being present during actual inventory count to validate results before submission, and ensuring all discrepancies are properly checked,documented and approved.

6. Ensures a good flow of information and documentation between the regional office and stores.

7. Monitors competition and general market conditions in the area where his stores are located.

8. Decides on the number of personnel, full timers and part timers, of each store.

9. Trains new store managers and reviews the training of cashiers.

10. Decides on the holiday programs of store managers and deputies.

11. Suggests new potential store managers to the Sales Manager and suggest dismissals 12. Responsible for the recruitment of new store employees

13. Participates in the Area Managers Meeting.

14. Ensures Compliance of Environmental Safety and Government (ESG) regulation under his/her responsibilites

Job Qualifications:

1. Atleast 3 years experience in the store operations and area operations in supermarket/general or equivalent

2. Bachelor’s/ College degree

3. Knows how to drive a 4- wheel vehicle and with valid drivers license

4. Willing to travel and do store visit

Work Location: In person

Pay: From Php60,000.00 per month
