Full job description
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our development team. In this role, you will help design and execute affordable, sustainable, and community-focused residential developments across the Philippines.
You will work closely with senior designers, project engineers, and project managers to translate mass-housing concepts into functional, cost-effective, and compliant built environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop schematic designs, architectural drawings, space planning layouts, and unit prototypes for low-cost and socialized housing projects.
- Prepare complete working drawings, construction details, and submission packages in compliance with BP 220, PD 957, the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096), and local zoning ordinances.
- Assist in material selection and specification, balancing durability, cost-efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, and site utility engineering teams to resolve technical overlaps and site constraints.
- Conduct periodic site visits to inspect ongoing construction, verify adherence to design specifications, and assist in resolving field implementation issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.S. Architecture).
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in architectural design or drafting (experience in subdivision planning, residential housing, or mass housing developments is a strong advantage). Fresh graduates with strong portfolio projects in socialized/affordable housing are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion).
- Familiarity with Revit / BIM workflows is a plus.
- Solid working knowledge of Philippine land development standards (BP 220 & PD 957).
- Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality low-cost design solutions.
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
