Full job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validate the measurements of Sand inside the Hoppers/Pelican Barges.
  • Prepare drawings of measurements done for the chambers of the Hoppers/Pelican Barges.
  • Prepare daily reports of vessel activities, including dredging, loading, transport, travel time, discharge/unloading location on the island, maintenance, and other relevant operational activities.
  • Submit daily reports to PHCC Engineer-in-charge.
  • Inspect sand screens and ensure that all chambers of the pelican barges are completely empty after discharging.
  • Ensure that sand samples are collected from the Pelican barges.
  • Monitor the productivity and progress of ground improvement and testing works, including Prefabricated. Vertical Drains (PVD), Vibro Compaction (VC), Rapid Impact Compaction, SCPTS, CPT, DEM, and other relevant equipment.
  • Report the operational status, productivity, and work areas of island-based equipment.
  • Perform other relevant duties as necessary to support marine and island operations.

  • Preparation of measurement drawings for barge chambers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.

3. Reporting & Data Management

  • Preparation of daily operational reports.

4. Marine Operations Monitoring

  • Monitoring of vessel movements and discharge locations.
