About the Role

This Digital & Social Marketing Intern role will gain hands-on exposure in the planning and execution of social-first marketing campaigns and digital initiatives across both Studios theatrical releases and Disney+ Philippines campaigns. The role will directly support the Assistant Manager, Social & Digital, Integrated Marketing SEA in the rollout of priority campaigns from July to December 2026 and local seasonal brand campaign.


The role will primarily focus on project-based campaign work supporting active digital and social rollouts across editorial planning, social-first executions, trend and fandom monitoring, reporting, campaign localization, and identifying real-time audience engagement opportunities.

The intern will work closely with both local and regional stakeholders, gaining exposure to how large-scale entertainment campaigns are localized and executed across platforms for theatrical and streaming releases. The role requires strong awareness of digital culture, platform behaviors, fandom communities, and social trends, alongside a creative and strategic mindset in developing social-first campaign ideas and executions.

Requirements:

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute social-first campaign and content ideas across Studios and Disney+ priorities
  • Support digital and social rollout execution for theatrical and streaming launches, working closely with local social agency partners on campaign coordination, content development, media plan reviews, SOS sheets, and campaign tracking across active campaigns
  • Monitor social trends, fandom conversations, and reactive content opportunities relevant to active campaigns
  • Support editorial planning, publishing coordination, campaign tracking, and asset organization across platforms
  • Assist in preparing creative briefs, presentation decks, campaign reports, social listening insights, and post-campaign recaps
  • Liaise with agencies and internal stakeholders for asset sourcing, approvals, and rollout coordination
  • Support community-first and engagement-led campaign initiatives during active launch windows
  • Participate in agency briefings, campaign reviews, and cross-functional discussions across Studios and Disney+ priorities
  • Think creatively and strategically in identifying culturally relevant and platform-native campaign opportunities

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between June to December 2026

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, Multimedia, Advertising, or a related field
  • Strong interest in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Entertainment, and Content
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, internet culture, fandom communities, and emerging digital trends
  • Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, Disney+, and Asian entertainment content
  • Creative thinker with strong awareness of platform-native storytelling and social-first content
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong collaborator with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate team player with curiosity and eagerness to contribute to campaigns and projects
