Full job description

Primarily responsible for processing of accounts payable transaction to ensure that finances and disbursements are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.

1. Receives invoices, billing and SOAs

2. Sorts invoices and SOAs due for payment

3. Checks documents as to completeness of attachments and valid signatures

4. Coordinates/communicates discrepancies with supplies and procurement

5. Posts entries into the system

6. Prepares check requests form

7. Edits and corrects entry made in case of correction

8. Submits requests to accounting supervisor for checking

9. Forwards to accounting manager for Approval

10. Verifies transactions and complies with financial policies and procedures

11. Records all disbursement voucher to system

12. Lists all suppliers checks in the log book

13. Maintains listing of accounts payable

14. Maintains updated supplier files and file numbers

15. Monitors ledger accounts payable of suppliers

16. Lists all issues and concerns regarding payable

17. Submits reports and raises those issues to immediate supervisor and manager for proper disposition

EDUCATION : A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or other accounting-related course

EXPERIENCE : Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
