About the role

Trident Digital is one of the fastest growing marketing agencies for financial advisors and real estate leaders in Singapore. Our clients are top producers in their industry, and they don’t pay us for views or pretty content. They pay us for leads, booked calls and closed business.

This role is a big part of that engine. Your job is to come up with strong angles for each client, and then write everything that carries those angles: video ad scripts, image ads, landing page copy, VSL scripts, Meta ad copy, and follow-up emails and WhatsApp messages. Your work runs on live campaigns with real budgets, and you’ll know within days whether it worked. If that excites you, keep reading.

What the setup looks like

You’ll join our ads department and work alongside team members with different specialist skill sets across media buying, funnels and creative, plus our strategists and the founder. We serve a growing base of ad clients and we’re scaling fast. Main channel is Meta. Market is Singapore. Niches are financial advisory and real estate, which means trust-based selling.

What you’ll do

• Come up with strong angles for each client based on their positioning, audience and offer
• Write high converting video ad scripts, image ad copy, VSL scripts, landing page copy and Meta ad copy
• Write follow-up emails and WhatsApp messages that keep leads moving towards booked calls
• Review results weekly with the ads lead, spot the winning angles, and write the next round based on data
• Write for real Singapore FA and RE audiences based on what they actually think and want. No generic “financial freedom” filler
• Build our angle library as you go, so every winning angle compounds for the whole team

How you’ll be measured

Hit rate. Out of every batch of scripts you write, a minimum share needs to become winners: strong lead costs, campaigns that can scale. Our current bar is at least 2 winners out of every 8 video scripts. You’ll see your numbers every week. Good writers want to be measured. It’s how you prove you’re good.

You’ll do well here if you

• Care about the difference between copy that reads well and copy that converts, and chase the second
• Rewrite your own hooks before anyone asks
• Study why an ad worked, not just that it worked
• Take feedback well. Your copy gets reviewed, tested and sometimes rewritten. That’s how everyone here improves, including us

This is not for you if you

• Want a job where you clock in, clear tasks and clock out at 6 sharp
• Have freelance clients or side hustles competing for your focus. We’re not saying no life outside work. We’re saying this has to be your main thing, because split attention shows in the work
• Prefer writing from templates instead of thinking through the audience and angle each time
