The ideal tutor can simplify complex concepts, communicate with patience and professionalism, and foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment in an online chat-based setting.
Key Ownership areas:
- Maintain professional, welcoming, approachable, and patient communication while interacting with students.
- Respond promptly and accurately to students’ mathematics-related queries, analyzing the root cause of doubts and providing well-structured, step-by-step solutions.
- Engage in follow-up discussions to ensure students fully understand explanations, adapting your approach to their learning level and emotional state.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior Mathematics teaching experience at the senior secondary or international curriculum level.
- Experience with IB, CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or similar international programs is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a professional, empathetic, student-focused mindset.
- Flexible availability, ideally 2 hours daily.
